Hi everyone,

Hope your day is going well.

Time to talk technology and, in particular, blogs. I personally feel that the impact they can have on a business can be astronomical. I remember when blogs first came around, I didn't have a CLUE on how to go about setting one up.. or even what it is!

Now I have a blog running at http://www.ComedyHypnosis.co.uk/Blog.html but I sussed that a good blog really will work for ANY business. Even if you don't think you're funny or interesting!

A blog helps to build a relationship of trust and respect between you and your clients/potential clients. It puts you as a perceived expert in any given field.

The best bit about blogs? They're free!!! And you can make them look as funky and cool as you want.

I'm not an expert but I'm rapidly becoming fairly knowledgable. My blog was NOT designed to entertain hypnotists, but rather the normal public and my clients/potential clients - but I seem to get a bunch of e-mails from hypnotists who are enjoying the blog posts too.

Anyway... the point of this. It was one of my best friends and colleagues who introduced me to the world of blogging. He's a genius with THOUSANDS of blogreaders.

Best bit is, he's teaching all about blogging, specifically for therapists in this fantastic new eBook and how to really boost business with it.

I would recommend it for anyone, therapist or stage performer and I would actually go as far as to say that it is, without doubt, one of the best 2 books I've read in the last few years. No question. All killer material with no filler.

Anyway. Just an honest and straight forward recommendation. And I just found out that its listed at a ridiculously low price until Sunday 5th April..

Please do yourself a favour and take a lookey at: http://tinyurl.com/dxkc4d

It's genius!

Cheers,
RT

P.S. Don't forget the price rockets on Sunday 5th April. Buy now to get this great price: http://tinyurl.com/dxkc4d

I have a couple of blogs, you don't have to be techy, but they do require some regular input obviously. I would like to say I get a lot of business off them but I don't having said that I think people find it useful and it doesn't cost anything except a bit of your time.

Hi Mike,

Welcome to the forum.

Blogging is in my opinion very important to get a website noticed. What i make sure i do is to incorporate the main keywords related to my job which is clinical hypnotherapy in the posts that i write. Writing good content about hypnosis and hypnotherapy or the business that you are in which is not overloaded with keywords is the route to success.

Feel free to add a link on one of your next posts on this forum, it might help you a bit

Kind regards,

Ian Smith
